Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address and authentication credentials. If you sign in with GitHub or Google, we receive basic profile information from those services.

Usage Data: We track the number of generations and explanations you perform daily for rate limiting purposes. For Pro users, we store your generated patterns to provide history functionality.

Payment Information: Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store your credit card details. We only store your Stripe customer ID to manage your subscription.

Free users: We retain your account information and daily usage counts. Usage counts reset daily.

Pro users: Your pattern history is retained for as long as you maintain an active subscription. You can request deletion of your history at any time.

Account deletion: When you delete your account, all your data is permanently removed within 30 days.

5. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data:

• All data is transmitted over HTTPS
• Passwords are hashed using secure algorithms
• Database access is restricted and monitored
• We use Supabase's built-in Row Level Security

We use the following third-party services:

• Supabase: Database and authentication
• Stripe: Payment processing
• Anthropic: AI model for regex generation/explanation
• Vercel: Hosting

Each service has its own privacy policy governing their handling of your data.

You have the right to:

• Correct inaccurate data
• Delete your account and data
• Export your pattern history (Pro users)
• Cancel your subscription at any time
